Let me tell you about one of the city’s most vibrant destinations that I frequently visit. TEG (Tirana East Gate) stands at the eastern edge of our capital, a spot for retail therapy and transportation convenience.
In this article, I’ll let you know how to get there via bus or Taxi, using Patoko.
Transportation Guide
The Quick Route: SAUK-TEG (Line 8A)
Line 8A races along Elbasan Street like a determined arrow, passing the magnificent AIR Albania Stadium. This route is perfect when I’m in a hurry, running every 10 minutes from 6 AM to 11 PM.
The Explorer’s Choice: Kopshti Zologjik (Line 2)
This route unfolds like a story through Tirana’s heart, showcasing our city’s evolution from the old train station through the vibrant Blloku district, past the serene Grand Park, and alongside the Zoo before reaching TEG.

TEG – The Modern Experience
With over 150 stores spread across 54,000 square meters, TEG Albania has plenty for everyone. As I mentioned above, TEG is also the location of the new bus terminal. You can explore the mall while waiting for your international bus to destinations like Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Montenegro.
