How do I book a taxi in Tirana with Patoko?

To book a ride, open the taxi app. You can either enter your pickup location manually or enable your current location. Then, choose your destination, select the type of ride you prefer, and press Confirm to search for a driver.

Can I schedule a ride in advance in Albania?

Yes, you can also schedule a ride. Before confirming, tap the calendar icon, choose your desired date and time, and then press Confirm to schedule the ride.

Does Patoko offer multi-stop rides?

Yes, with Patoko you can add multiple stops. When selecting your destination, simply tap the + icon to add up to 5 stops before confirming your ride.

Can I choose a specific driver or car?

At the moment, you cannot choose a specific driver. The app will automatically assign the closest available driver to you.

The fare from Tirana Airport to Tirana is a fixed price of 1,800 ALL.

Does Patoko operate inside the airport late at night?

Yes, the app is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

All Patoko drivers are trained to handle emergency situations, and our support line is available 24/7.

What payment methods does Patoko accept?

In Patoko, there are three payment methods: cash, card, or our own currency called TOKOs, which you can earn through promotions or by referring others.

Can I get an invoice for my company?

The only way to receive an invoice is by requesting it from the driver at the end of your ride, as Patoko acts only as an intermediary.

Does Patoko support promo codes or referral credits?

Yes, Patoko supports promo codes. You can use codes from our various promotions or share your referral code with others to earn TOKOs, which can be used as discounts.

How to rent a car in Tirana using Patoko?

To rent a car, open the Patoko car rental app. You can browse different companies and their fleets, chat with the merchant if needed, and book the car you want by selecting the rental dates and duration. Then, choose a payment method, pressing Confirm.

Can I rent a car at Tirana Airport through Patoko?

Yes, you can also rent a car at Rinas Airport, as all car rental companies offer the option to pick up vehicles there.

For taxis, there are currently no cancellation fees. For other services in the app, cancellation policies may vary depending on the merchant.

Lost & found: how do I retrieve items?

Yes. Right now in Patoko we offer cash and in app payment which supports not only Visa and Mastercard but also American cards via Stripe

Patoko does not share user data with third parties. Your information is only used to ensure a smooth and secure experience within the app.

Yes, you can delete your Patoko account. Go to your profile, scroll down, and select ‘Delete Account.’ Please note that doing so will permanently remove all your TOKOs and booking history.

How to change phone number or email?

When you sign in with a phone number or email, it cannot be changed to a different one.

How do I get my ride receipt?

After completing a ride, the only way to get a receipt is from the taxi driver, as Patoko operates solely as an intermediary.

Student discounts for Patoko?

Soon enough Patoko is planning to launch the Student Ambassador program so it is still in our plans!

Can I request an XL/van for groups?

Yes, Patoko also offers 6+1 taxis. You can select this option under Patoko Group in the ride choices.

Safety tips for women using Patoko at night

Please make sure to chat to your driver before he picks you up so he knows exactly where you are or if you are moving. Stay calm our fleet has gone through an evaluation process and if there is ever any type of degrading or offensive behaviour from the drivers contact the support immediately and we will take the right measuress!

What car categories are available?

Patoko offers a wide range of ride options, including taximeter and fixed-rate rides. It also provides the Infant option with a child seat, the Pet option for rides with pets, and 6+1 taxis under the Patoko Group option

Does Patoko have an API/partner integrations?

Yes Patoko has integrations with different payment processors so we can offer the in app payment experience

Is Patoko a registered company in Albania?

Yes , we are a legally registered company in Albania known as Patoko SHPK.

I havent gotten the OTP to sign in, what can i do?

In Patoko you can sign in in different ways . If you cant get the OTP try using apple or google credentials to sign in.

What is TOKO?

Toko are the points of the app. You can win TOKO by sharing your referral code with your friends and every time they do a trip both you win 50 TOKO until 10n rides are completed. TOKO serves as discount for your trips.

In Patoko we support cash , mastercard (Visa), American Express etc.

To pay with card is easy. All you have to do is put your card information and before taking a trip switch the option from cash to card.
